LiewCF Tech Blog: Free OpenOffice.org Training Videos

I think the videos are an excellent idea, kudos to the team.

OpenOffice.org has been around for years of course, under the name StarOffice, so there are many books and online resources, as well.

Also, if you're considering OpenOffice.org, don't overlook the option of just downloading the product from www.openoffice.org and installing the
software. And it's totally free, of course. There's no problem with installing OpenOffice.org on the same machine with Microsoft Office or another office suite. (No conflict with other software period, as far as I know.) It of course runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, OS/2, and more.

Anyone who's used an office suite will be able to play around with OpenOffice.org and do simple tasks immediately. There's also a lot of online help.

OpenOffice is excellent. I see very little use for MS office ever since.

Little to no more MSoffice for me. :D
