Got .de account for six months :( and can't use .com now it sux this will be the last time I will register with rapidshare. The email I recieved says rapidshare.de and rapidshare.com are totally different companies and still I can see huge banner on .de account to upload your files on .com they think we all are dumb brains here.

Bullshit. They never going to give u free accounts. All they want u to do is download their file and they get points to convert into premium account.Thats why they asked u to download the files. Why not post the acc + pass straight? rather than download the txt files? think agian. We are actually helping them to get points man…

I also have encountered the problem with the rapidshare.com account. I also renewed my rapidshare.de account and tried to update rapidshare.com but was unable and got the same messages.

Also tried to obtain support but to no avail.

If anyone does manage to gain access to rapidshare.com again could you please post the answers.

well i have this problem... i did buy a rapidshare.de account so i also got a rapidshare.com account by pasting in the rapidshare.de code.... but what has happened is that when i renewed the rapidshare.de account this month the rapidshare.com account did not renew with it so it always says ur account has expired. i tried pasting the code once more no use.. it says account already exists... help me please.. i even send a mail to support@rapidshare.com but its electronic... wht do i do

Damn...I bought a .de account because some files I need are from there (and its still available) but I just realised that they removed the promotion! That means I'm stuck with .de account now and I'll have to buy a .com account if I want to download .com stuffs!

I'm am new to rapidshare, but from what I know rapidshare.de is not allowing people to use it anymore. It is closing and moving to the .com version. People who were premium users have had to transfer to the new place and lost credits. But now the only place to join is at the .com site. .De version is unusable. I was going to join when I get a job and money, but this is confusing. Long story short they were being followed by German authorities. They had to switch servers. Also they claim to not allow basically the main stuff on the servers such as PORN! and copyrighted stuff. But everything has gotten out of hand so they don't give a care anymore. People post a whole bunch of stuff on it. But as most of you know there is no way to search for it. So there are place where you can look for stuff or google, but porn is what mainly comes up although sometimes you get lucky and find things. Yet, those who get downloaded get credits. well, really don't want to buy an account, but I might have to to the .com version or clips uploaded get erased fast.

It is a rip off because all the latest files are sending me to rapidshare.de I have a rapidshare.com account paid up for 1 year I opened it two months ago and now it seems a waste of money.

The problem is that people who sign up and pay for rapidshare.de get FREE access to rapidshare.com.

You get screwed if you sign up for rapidshare.com, as there appears to be no deal in the reverse direction.

It's totally screwed. No one should ever sign up for rapidshare.com.

hi. got a rapidshare.COM premium account recently. able to download using rapidshare.COM download links. but unable to download some essential stuff through rapidshare.DE links.!!
learnt that its possible for rapidshare.de users to get free rapidshare.com premium accounts.
