LiewCF Tech Blog: Nokia 6230i in Malaysia

  • Lelong Kaki · 3 years ago
You forgot to mention EDGE support.

It's in one of my lelong 'favourites' daily search item. Reason being I want to get connected to the internet via an EDGE phone instead of stupid Streamyx. That'd be cool to be connected anytime anywhere.

I'm getting it in two weeks :D , i've had the 6230 for over a year now and it's a great phone, but the 6230i is an irresistable upgrade! :P

I have been using 6230i for three month already and found it to be amost a perfect phone, small, very good speaker quality. bought it for 1250-00 but now it should be cheaper than that, the camera and MP3 player that come with it are rather impressive
  • Sanketh · 3 years ago

Hi, I am looking for a budget hanphone with camera and Edge technology. Can anyone recommend me some models to choose from? No Sony Erricson please. Thanx.
  • o.eleven · 3 years ago
For a start, how much are you willing to spend?
This is the most decisive factor.

What about the form? Do you prefer clamshell or candy bar?
  • LcF · 3 years ago
I am willing to spend RM1100 for my next mobile phone. I prefer candy bar form.

hi guys, i personally introduce Nokia 6030, if you not require for camera. i believe the design was cool, cause at the first sight, the external design was poor compare to other brands. Surprisingly, a lot of my friends said that the design is a bit cool, and ask me what is the model and wish to have one too.

Sungai wang RM 410 AP phone. original is RM 490. Additionally, if you prefer radio function, i believe, 6030 will be your first choice. *Nokia application always the most user friendly function. try it out !
  • Jessica · 3 years ago
Hi there, my budget is around RM700-RM800.
I prefer clamshell, and must with camera. Too many choice from the market now, please recommend.

    Jess,
Maybe you could have a look at Motorola V360. I've been a Nokia user for quite a long time & V360 is my first Motorola cellphone. Been using it for 4 months now. Quite stylish, light. Though it uses VGA, but the quality of the picture taken is remarkably on parr wth typical megapixel cameraphones out there.
